Covid-19 Audience Guidance - St Paul's Church

We are looking forward to performing for you and want everyone to feel safe and welcome at our concerts. In line with the latest government advice, we are providing the following guidance for your comfort and safety.

Masks/face coverings (updated 16/03/22)
Face coverings are no longer mandatory at indoor events, however we recognise that some people may still feel vulnerable. We would greatly appreciate face coverings being worn whenever you are moving around the building.

Social Distancing
We are continuing to reduce ticket availability to allow for social distancing should guests require it. St Paul’s is a very spacious venue. Please feel free to sit where you feel most comfortable, and respectfully give the orchestra and fellow audience members their space as much as possible throughout the venue.

Admission
Doors open at 2pm. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and pass through the admissions desk. We will be minimising the number of people in the foyer at any one time to safe guard our volunteers and you, our audience.

If you have any of the following symptoms please do not attend:

- High temperature
- New continuous cough
- Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
 
If you are unsure then please do not attend. If you become unwell during your visit please alert a BGSO volunteer or St Paul’s member of staff who will assist you.

Refunds
To ensure the safety  of our audience and members, for our 26th March and 16th July concerts at St. Paul's we will continue to honour refunds in circumstances where we have asked you not to attend (see section above). Please email treasurer@bgso.org.uk to arrange the refund of your tickets with us directly. We strongly recommend purchasing ‘Refund Protection’ provided by Ticket Source which provides additional cover for circumstances in addition to Covid-19 - https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/kb/customers/refund-protection

Cancellation
If we cancel the concert due to Covid-19 or for any other reason TicketSource will automatically refund online bookings. Telephone service fees, ticket delivery fees and Refund Protection (where it falls outside of the 14 day cooling off period) are non refundable. All sundry items or donations will also be refunded. They will appear as a separate transaction on your statement. You will receive a notification via email about the event cancellation. If you purchased a mobile ticket you will also receive notification by text. You will be sent a second automated email once the refund has been processed. Please note that it can take up to 14 days for the refund to appear back on your card.

QR Code
St Pauls has a Covid-19 NHS QR code and the venue recommends that our audience members scan this on arrival with one of the national NHS apps while the track and trace service is still supported.

Additional Safety Measures
BGSO and St Paul's take the health and well-being of our audience members very seriously. The following precautions are taken to ensure your safety:

- Increased cleaning in St Paul's
- Regular hand-washing by staff
- Hand sanitiser available to all

We reserve the right to update or amend the foregoing as necessary in line with advice from government due to Covid-19, and will communicate any changes to ticket holders.
